Despite the gruelling heat, it feels good to be back in my home country, the Philippines, and lie down in my own bed. Whew.
Now, I am so excited to publish this week’s blog and podcast episode. Did you miss me? 🙂
Well, this week, I would like to answer some of the most popular questions being asked by our followers in social media, blog, podcast and live events. I am doing so because I can get quite repetitive with my answers so I hope that through this post and podcast episode, you will be able to find value as I get very in-depth with my answers. Here we go!
“Is this an MLM or network marketing scheme?”
This is one of the most top questions posted in our Freelance Blend Facebook Page at facebook.com/freelanceblend and also during our Freelance Blend Manila Meetup events.
Here’s the news. I’m sorry to say but freelancing is not a get-rich quick scheme. And we are definitely not an MLM or a network marketing group. Freelance Blend is a community of happy and respectful freelancers. Freelancers who are successful in their own right and have actual services and value to provide the populace and ,yes, it can be very lucrative career, but you still have to work hard and be smart to be truly prosperous in this field.
“How do I earn online?”
Now this is a very tough question to answer without sounding like a sleazy salesman (or network marketing agent). And that’s why I entitled this as “Non-Sleazy Ways of Working and Earning from Home.”
Also, the answer could be very complex and could not be addressed properly in a one-paragraph blog or Facebook post or a 10-minute podcast.
That’s why I decided to tackle this question in the most simple but comprehensive way and I hope I am able to give it some justice in this episode.
(Here is a picture of the actual mind map that I used for this topic.)
Meanwhile, here are the links and resources that I mentioned during this episode:

And there you have it, the various, get-rich slow ways of earning online. But, as I said, this is a complex topic and in fact, 40 minutes is not enough to cover this, moreso the “Branding Yourself” topic.
Hence, I am planning to do a webinar, live seminar or bootcamp one of these days to expound more on the subject and if you are interested, I do hope you sign up for it. I promise to make it a fun, exciting, and unique engagement that you never experienced before from other seminars. Please watch out for it!
Also, if you think I missed an important means of working and earning from home, why don’t you post a shout out in the comments section below. We would love to hear from you.
‘Til next time. Cheers!
