?????? The Freelancers & Entreps Meetup ??????
Why change the name?
Because we believe the word “Freelancer” encompasses all types of self-employed persons…
From writers, virtual assistants, digital marketers, virtual nomads, designers, web developers, animators, social media managers, work from home moms…
…To lawyers, accountants financial advisors, real estate agents, and the like.
So if you are a FREELANCER ??? and you need to take a break & disconnect from the digital world…
You think it’s time to step out of the house and meet people who are just like you…
…People who “get it” and understand your work.
…People who won’t judge you for being a work from home person.
Or you may also be an ENTREPRENEUR?? — a solopreneur, small business owner, e-store owner or startup founder…
And you’d like to hook up, collaborate, and engage with freelancers under one roof.
Because one thing we have in common is WE ARE OUR OWN BOSS.
We invite you to join us in our popular meetup series that we’ve been running since 2016 — The Freelancers & Entreps Meetup!
1. Is it open to newbies, those who are not freelancers or entrepreneurs yet?
A: Yes, of course. This meetup is open to anyone who would like to join a meetup and connect with freelancers and entrepreneurs to build their network or simply get inspired by them.
2. Is there a fee to join the meetup?
A: Yes, we will charge a small fee to cover food/drinks and our other expenses. How much is the fee? We have an Early Bird rate and a Regular rate. Please scroll below for more details.
3. What will we do during the meetup?
A: The main activity of the meetup is the sharing session. Each attendee will be asked to introduce themselves and share how they can help someone in the group. This is voluntary but we encourage everyone to participate. That’s the whole point of the meetup anyway :).
Then, after that, it’s a free-for-all. Approach the person you want to talk to or participate in discussions with others.
4. When and where will the meetup be?
A: The date and time of the meetup is March 2, 2019 (Saturday) from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Venue: Ground Up Business Solutions – Werco Arcade, Lot 18, Dr. A. Santos Ave. (or Sucat Ave), Parañaque City (inside Max’s Restaurant compound)
5. Until when can I reserve or RSVP?
A: You can still reserve until the day of the meetup, however, historically slots are filled up a week or 2 in advance — that means we will no longer accept RSVPs. So, if you are really decided to join, register and pay ASAP to confirm your slot.

We will be collecting a small, Early Bird Fee of Php350 per person to cover food & drinks and other expenses.
EARLY BIRD MEETUP RATE: Php350 or Usd7.00 (ends on FEBRUARY 23, 2019)
REGULAR MEETUP RATE: Php550

After that, the Meetup Rate goes up to Php 550.00
We can only accommodate up to 40 people max so please RSVP immediately so we can reserve a slot for you. If you are still not sure, please cancel your RSVP to allow others to join.
